Parish and Town Council Elections 3 May 2018   ()

 Key dates of the upcoming elections. As we have had major boundary changes, a list of the new wards and ward names has been published on the HBC website.

 The notice of election will be displayed within the parish on the 23 of March.  

The nomination period will commence from 10am on 26 March. As this is will be the first time we have all out elections across Harrogate, it is advisable that any candidates who wish to stand make an appointment in advance to submit their nomination papers.

 All nomination papers must be submitted in person at Civic Centre, St Lukes Avenue, Harrogate, HG1 2AE. The deadline for nominations to be submitted is 4pm 6 April 2018. Any nomination papers received by my office in the post will not be accepted.

 The nomination packs can be collected between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday at the Civic Centre, St Lukes Avenue, Harrogate HG1 2AE.   Alternatively, they are also available to download from the HBC website. 

The Electoral Commission provides excellent guidance for all candidates and agents on election law and responsibilities. All guidance can be viewed at www.electoralcommission.org.uk.
